Ingredients
- 250g Beef Mince — Heme iron and zinc in the forms the body absorbs best. Brown it hard and drain the fat if it is not a lean mince.
- 1 1/2 cups cooked (300g) Brown Rice — The base, with its bran still on.
- 1 tin, drained (200g) Black Beans — Fibre, and together with the rice they cover each other amino acid gaps.
- 1 cob or 1/2 tin (100g) Corn — Sweetness against the spice, and a little more fibre.
- 1/2 avocado (80g) Avocado — The cooling fat that makes the bowl work.
- 1 sachet (12g) Taco Seasoning — Convenient, and usually where most of the sodium in this bowl comes from.
