Oat Protein Balls
Recipes · Snack · Recipe, Typed Supps
A batch on Sunday is a week of not buying protein bars.
Allergens and patterns
Contains gluten, milk, peanuts. Fits: Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Halal, Kosher.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dry (420g cooked weight) Oats — The base and the binder, bringing beta-glucan fibre that a shop-bought bar rarely does.
- 2 scoops (60g) Whey Protein — What takes each ball to a useful protein number rather than a sweet oat lump.
- 1/2 cup (120g) Peanut Butter — The glue, and most of the fat and flavour.
- 3 tbsp (60g) Honey — The other half of the glue. Without it the mix will not hold.
