Set it up before bed, breakfast is already done when you wake up.
Allergens and patterns
Contains gluten, milk, tree nuts. Fits: Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Halal, Kosher.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (50g) Oats — A soluble fibre called beta-glucan is what makes oats genuinely lower cholesterol, not just a marketing line.
- 2/3 cup (150ml) Milk — Softens the oats overnight and adds protein and calcium the oats alone don’t have.
- 1 tbsp (10g) Chia Seeds — Thickens the mixture into a pudding-like texture and adds extra fibre and omega-3.
- 1/2 banana (60g) Banana — Natural sweetness and potassium, mashed in or sliced on top.
- 1 tbsp (16g) Almond Butter — Adds healthy fat and protein so the meal keeps you full past mid-morning.
- a pinch Ground Cinnamon — Flavour with essentially no calories — no nutritional heavy lifting, just makes it taste better.
