Papaya Boat with Yogurt & Lime
Recipes · Breakfast · Recipe, Typed Supps
Half a papaya used as the bowl. Nothing to wash up and about a day’s vitamin C in it.
Allergens and patterns
Contains milk. Fits: Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Halal, Kosher, Gluten-free.
Ingredients
- 1/2 papaya (300g) Papaya — Contains papain, an enzyme that breaks down protein — which is why it has a reputation as the fruit you eat when digestion is sluggish.
- 1/2 cup (120g) Greek Yogurt — Spooned into the hollow. Papaya alone is 90% water and this is what makes it breakfast.
- 1/2 lime, juiced Lime — Papaya is faintly musky on its own and lime is the standard fix. Skip it and you will notice.
- 1 tbsp (15g) Pumpkin Seeds — Crunch, magnesium, and zinc — over a bowl where everything else is soft.
