Recipes · Breakfast · Recipe, Typed Supps
Porridge rebuilt around the protein number, for a morning after a hard session.
Allergens and patterns
Contains gluten, milk, peanuts. Fits: Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Halal, Kosher.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup dry (250g cooked) Oats — The carbohydrate that refills muscle glycogen, which is half of what recovery actually is.
- 3/4 scoop (25g) Whey Protein — Stirred in off the heat — boiled whey turns grainy and never recovers.
- 3/4 cup (200ml) Milk — More protein than water, and it makes the pot creamier.
- 1/2 cup (75g) Blueberries — Sweetness with fibre attached, rather than sugar on its own.
- 1 tbsp (20g) Peanut Butter — Fat, flavour, and a few more grams of protein.
