Recipes · Snack · Recipe, Typed Supps
Cucumber hollowed out and used as the vehicle, which drops the carbohydrate to almost nothing.
Allergens and patterns
Contains fish, milk. Fits: Pescatarian, Kosher, Gluten-free.
Ingredients
- 2 tins, drained (160g) Tinned Tuna — About 35g of protein across two servings, for very little else.
- 2, halved and hollowed (300g) Cucumber — Scrape the seeds out with a teaspoon. Left in, they leak water and the filling slides straight out.
- 3 tbsp (50g) Greek Yogurt — Instead of mayonnaise — it binds the same way and adds protein rather than fat.
- diced fine (30g) Red Onion — Sharpness against a very mild filling.
- a squeeze Lemon — Tinned tuna needs acid more than it needs salt.
- a small handful (5g) Dill — Through the mix.
