Tuna & Tomato Pasta
Recipes · Dinner · Recipe, Typed Supps
Four store-cupboard tins and a packet of pasta, twenty minutes, no shopping.
Allergens and patterns
Contains gluten, fish. Fits: Pescatarian, Kosher.
Ingredients
- 225g dry (450g cooked) Wholegrain Pasta — Reserve a cup of the water — it is what makes the sauce cling.
- 2 tins, drained (190g) Canned Tuna — Forked through at the end. Simmered, it goes dry and grainy.
- 1 tin (400g) Tomatoes — Reduced for fifteen minutes so it stops tasting tinned.
- a handful, halved (60g) Olives — Brine and monounsaturated fat.
- 1 tbsp (20g) Capers — The sharp note the dish is built around. Rinse them if sodium matters to you.
